Finance & Accounts Department

The mandate of the Finance and Accounts Department is to provide day to day financial advice to the Corporation and its various departments on all matters involving expenditure of funds and or generation of revenue on a policy basis to ensure the long term sustainability of the Corporation. The department assists in the development of appropriate framework plans which seek to meet and support the Corporation’s overarching strategic and development plan. The Finance and Accounting Department is also responsible for budget preparation; monthly and annual financial statements preparation; administration of the payroll functions for the various departments; administration of accounts payable and general accounts receivables and the preparation of financial reports on grant funding received from external agencies, ministries and departments.
