The newly-appointed Board of Management for the Clarendon Drop-In Centre is now in place. The thirteen member board convened on Tuesday, November 17.
The Board is responsible for the management of the facility including recommendations for staffing, source funding and the administration of resources.
Board comprise members from the local business and financial communities and is headed by nominated Chairman, Mr. Norman Campbell, who has an extensive background in mental health.
The Board will now meet every third Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. on location at the Clarendon Drop-In Centre, East Street, Denbigh. The facility is a two-year old project undertaken by the Clarendon Parish Council to significantly increase its outreach as it relates to the rehabilitation of its homeless clients.
